Our Jamaican singers, who live in Japan, come together to form this new unit in February 2017, because of their love for Jamaica and Japan.

John Lucas is now celebrating 20 years in Japan.
JAPONICA was born to represent the bond between John’s home country Jamaica, and his second home, Japan.
“John Lucas with JAPONICA Singers”, “Connecting Japan to the World” was launched since in February 2017, with John Lucas as its leader.

The theme is “Music with Love for Japan”.
